Explore in 360 VR technology the environmental impact of sinkholes on the Dead Sea shores and its direct damage to this tourist spa resort -Mineral Beach.
On this dramatic expedition, we will be accompanied first hand by a local kibbutz resident who will share with us his memories from this resort and emphasis how climate change impacted the environment, his life and his community.
A LIVE ZOOM Visual Arts Presentation
In this visual presentation, Noam will share his exclusive four year documentation of changes over time in the Dead Sea’s water level and will discuss ‘water diplomacy’ in one of the world’s most water-scarce regions, where clean and drinkable water is the most valuable asset in the Middle East as for the whole world.
Cost $525
All Proceeds go directly to the non-profit organization- The Dead Sea Revival Project, an NGO dedicated to sharing the Dead Sea with the world through environmental art, education, research, documentation, and activism.
Some Information About the Expedition
The Program is an Hour Long
The first part of the program: 10-15 minutes is a personal 360 Dead Sea Virtual Expedition on your smartphone (or computer screen) via Facebook app (not browser).
The second part of the program: A 45 minutes LIVE zoom visual arts presentation, including questions and answers. You have the option to either use one projector screen for your group, if they plan on sitting together. If not, the group can log into the zoom presentation with their personal smartphone.
Make sure your smartphone is fully charged, a strong wifi connection and downloaded the facebook app
After subscribing to the event, you will receive a link, a reminder to your calendar/email and receive links to log into for the Dead Sea 360 virtual expedition and the zoom presentation.
